Freedom Trail and
Black Heritage Tours Tour historical places discovering the contributions African Americans have made, and the impact they have had in the shaping of our nation. Learn about
social movements, inventions, literature, art and science, music, medicine, sports, culture and the role that African Americans have had influencing the history. Tour and learn about Freedom trail sites can have a historical association through many different ways. The most common association is if the site, perhaps a building or even a natural feature, was a "station" of the Underground Railroad, that is, a place that provided refuge and assistance to fugitives. An association could also be found at a river crossing, a route, or a hiding place used by the freedom seeking.
