Below, you will find important liability and travel insurance information pertinent to Great Adventure Tours: please refer to the “Certificate of Insurance” voucher for Great Adventure Tours for details. Great Adventure Insurance Carrier: A.M. Skier Agency TA # 153972 • Schools, Districts, or Tour Chaperones may be listed as
"ADDITIONALLY INSURED" by both the transportation insurance
carrier as well as the Great Adventure carrier. This insurance voucher
can be formulated and sent directly to
DETERMINATION OF MOTORCOACH COMPANY FOR YOUR GROUP - All motorcoach transportation provided by Great Adventure Tours will meet or exceed all transportation guidelines and requirements of your school district or administration for student travel. Final bus company selection will be subject to approval by your school or district; and will be submitted for authorization as per your instructions to Motorcoach inspections prior to tour departure are acceptable.
First Class Insurance Carrier: T.I.B. Insurance For Northern California school groups, the bus company selected
for your tour would most likely be COACH USA, ALL WEST CHARTERS
or FRONTIER CHARTERS (David Lippincott, President). Frontier Tours
is a member in good standing of the NTA, UBOA, and National Motorcoach
Network. Great Adventure Tours has professionally associated with
Frontier for the for the past 5 years. Frontier Charters offers
the finest in new model motorcoaches and competent coach operators
-- both S.P.A.B certified and inspected. Please feel free to call
the bus company directly with any questions specific to the bus
or operation thereof; the company has offices in Sacramento, Reno,
San Jose, San Francisco and L.A. You can reach this bus company
by calling 1 (800) 356-9838. For specific bus company information
out of the Central Valley area you can call either Art Carney or
Ken Sanders at (800) 862-4642; either of these two company representatives
will be happy to speak with you regarding their buses. The following additional Motorcoach Operators are regular service providers that Great Adventure Tours frequently affiliates with (as determined by the actual school point of origin and tour destinations desired) and which provide similar S.P.A.B. approved driver, motorcoach and service certifications as outlined above. Also, if schools have specific contract and service agreements with specific bus charter companies we will be happy to utilize your preferred or authorized carriers as priority for your tour:
LODGING for our tours will be well-coordinated to meet group needs and expectations; a varied selection and style of lodging is available as per your group request. Our student tours are generally most content at one of the following nationwide chain hotels: HAMPTON INNS, RAMADA HOTELS, HOLIDAY INNS, DAYS INNS, COMFORT INNS, HOWARD JOHNSONS, RADISSONS and TRAVELODGE HOTELS, etc… Hotels visited on tour will be nationwide and reputable hotel facilities, recognizable for name and standards of accommodation and familiar across the United States; properties that will uphold a standard of lodging appropriate for educational group travel and parental concerns for site location and safety. We will be happy to contact any of our hotel central reservation offices on your behalf for specific insurance inquiries or specific information pertaining to their facilities. The selected Hotels at which we lodge will be a centrally located full facility hotels offering comfortable, clean hotel-style accommodations in a central and safe location of the destination city with restaurant facilities on premise or close at hand. Schools will have an option of having a professional security guard on duty for overnight hotel stays (this all night security service may require additional funding by tour participants on a specific tour planned unless included in tour from the start).

Great Adventure Tours (a division of "Nickerson Enterprises, Inc."),
established in 1969, has offered educational & recreational
tours for students for over 36 years. Scott Nickerson, Owner and
President, earned a Bachelor of Arts in Biological Sciences and
English Literature from Occidental College. He has taught as an
Elementary, Intermediate and High School teacher while in Peace
Corps, West Africa and, following his return to the United States
in 1984, served as the Director of Cali-Camp Summer Day Camp as
well as the Vice-President of Great Adventure Tours for nearly 15
years. As the eventual Owner and President of Great Adventure Tours,
Mr. Nickerson further developed the emphasis of “Adventures
in Education” and applied his passions and professional interests
to full-time staffing and development of the educational adventures
which are this company’s strength. The focus upon educational
touring represent a focus upon the personal development and growth
of the individual as tour participant and a “student’s
eye-view” of life’s varied spectrum of choices and possibilities.
The on-going educational process and sharing of life’s experiences
has inspired Great Adventure Tours’ commitment to children,
student travel and education through the years: sharing educational
opportunities which potentially dramatically alter a child’s
vision of life is the reason we do what we do! For all these years

Great
Adventure Tours is a proud member in good standing of the National

As clients of Great Adventure Tours all deposits and funds are protected
for up to $250,000.00 in the unlikely event of Tour Operator default
or bankruptcy. In selecting a tour operator that is a member of
the N.T.A., you may rest assured that student & school funds
collected and forwarded prior to actual tour date are secure! 
FLIGHT
OPTIONS AND AIR INCLUSIVE TOURS - Tours which include air flights
as part of the comprehensive tour packaged will be ticketed on scheduled
air carriers and flights. Clients therefore have the assurances
of not only Great Adventure Tours Consumer Protections Packages
but also the assured quality and reliability of national and international
name airlines and scheduled air services that service the destinations
of intended itinerary. 
For
a Southern California point of origin, our bus carrier will most
likely be either COACH USA or FIRST CLASS CHARTERS (also an accepted
LAUSD service provider/ vendor), as owned and operated by Tony Fernandez.
Great Adventure Tours has professionally associated with First Class
for the past 15 years. First Class Charters offers the finest in
new model Eurostyle motorcoaches and competent coach operators --
both S.P.A.B certified and inspected. Please feel free to call the

thereof; the company has offices in Los Angeles and provides charter
service to all of the United States. You can reach the bus office

happy to forward a copy of bus company's Professional Certificate
of Insurance or have your specific school or district listed as
"Additionally Insured" pending tour selection and confirmation
of travel dates and motorcoach operator.
